who we are and what we do

Sports Tours Europe runs a variety of sports tours to England and elsewhere in Europe. Started by the team at CMT Learning, who have been running residential summer sports programmes for young players since 2009, we work with some of the world’s top clubs, federations, coaches and sports scientists. 

We are motivated by creating exceptional sporting experiences for young people visiting England and Europe. 

Our focus is on the needs of young players and how to ensure they get the very best out of their tour experience. We are sports people and we’re passionate about the opportunities that international travel can provide. Our tours  promote confidence, teamwork, respect, skill progression and opportunities to engage with British players and teams. Sports Tours Europe is a trading Division of CMT Learning Ltd. MEET THE TEAM

chris Trembath

Founder and Managing Director

Chris is the founder of Sports Tours Europe, CMT Learning and Euro Sports Camps. He is a trained accountant with many years’ experience in youth education and sports.

Dale Hobson

Director

Dale worked as a consultant for Nike for many years and is now a Director of Nike Sports Camps UK and Sports Tours Europe. He has worked with teams and clubs all over the world at the highest levels of sport. Dale recognises what a valuable experience sports tours can provide for young players, leaving them with not just lasting memories but also new skills; building confidence, independence and maturity.

Rikki Mace

Operations Director

Rikki joined CMT Learning in 2012 as part of the operations team. He is now responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of all projects including staffing, logistics, safeguarding and programme development. He is also the Operations Director for Nike Sports Camps, planning the residential camp programmes for hundreds of young people from across the world.

Tours Director

Tony was one of the founders of CMT Learning and has been working in youth sports and education since the end of his 20-year career as a professional cricketer. He has experience working with groups and teams from around the world, as well as a deep understanding of UK school sports and how to plan exciting outbound tours for young British players.

JESS HUXTABLE

Project Manager

After working for Nike Sports Camps summer camps for a number of years, Jess joined the head office team in 2018. Working with Rikki, Jess organises logistics and activities on the ground, using her experience working on our sports camps to create the best possible experience for travelling groups and teams. Jess spent her childhood between Australia and the UK so knows exactly what it’s like for young people to travel and explore the world.
