ELITE PERFORMANCE CENTRES

Brighton & Hove Albion's American Express Elite Football Performance Centre

Train with Brighton & Hove Albion's award winning coaching team at their Category 1 academy facility. Staying at the nearby YHA in the centre of Brighton and overlooking the sea you'll get the best of these professional training facilities and the beautiful city of Brighton.  Brighton & Hove Albion’s Academy holds Category One status, the highest standard in English football. The club’s state-of-the-art training complex, the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, was completed in the summer of 2014. The new training ground has 5 1st team pitches, 7 Academy pitches, 1 indoor pitch and 1 community pitch.

St George's Park National Football Centre

The English Football Association’s National Football Centre, St George’s Park is a newly purpose-built facility in the middle of England (just north of Birmingham). It was opened in 2012 as the training ground for all England’s national teams as well as the headquarters of the English Football Association and the site for all their coaching and development work. 

St George’s Park has 12 pitches including grass, artificial surfaces and an indoor full-sized pitch. The 350-acre site also houses biomechanics and training gyms, hydrotherapy suites, medical and sports science facilities, video analysis, coaching and education suites. 

Accommodation is in the on-site hotel facility, managed by Hilton. This is the best combined football and accommodation venue in the country, a really special experience for a soccer tour to England.

Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre

An historic manor house, one of Sport England’s five National Sports Centres and home to England’s national governing body for Hockey, England Hockey. Bisham Abbey is just west of London and offers a perfect base for a professional hockey experience. Training where the England Hockey team train you’ll experience their world-class water based hockey pitch alongside an elite strength and conditioning facility, sports therapy performance centre, gym, tennis courts, sauna and steam room. 

Used regularly by the UK’s top athletes, all accommodation is available on-site. The leading hockey venue in the country, this is an exceptional opportunity to train where the 2016 Olympic champions train and learn from the world’s best in an inspiring environment.

National Tennis Centre & Roehampton University

If you're looking for a tennis trip to England, we have access to the best facility in the country. Home of the Lawn Tennis Association, Britain’s governing body for tennis, The National Tennis Centre was purpose built in 2008 and is the best tennis facility in the country. With clay, grass, acrylic and indoor surfaces, players can experience all 4 grand slam surfaces at this elite venue close to London.

Accommodation options include residing on-site in the National Tennis Centre’s en-suite bedrooms overlooking the courts in the heart of the complex. Alternatively, it may be more suitable to stay at the nearby Roehampton University, offering affordable accommodation just a short walk from the National Tennis Centre. 

PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND UNIVERSITIES

Lancing College

An impressive private English boarding school on the south coast of England near to Brighton and just over an hour from London, Lancing College offers not only excellent sporting facilities and accommodation all on-site but also a spectacular English country experience. Previous tour visitors have likened the school’s buildings to “Hogwarts” by the sea. 

With extensive playing fields for a number of sports including hockey, football, rugby and lacrosse, the school also has laser-levelled grass tennis courts, hard courts, a 25 metre swimming pool, indoor sports hall, squash courts and a weights training room. 

All accommodation is within the school grounds and the location offers a host of nearby activities such as Brighton pier, “real tennis” and some of the best historic landmarks in England, such as Arundel castle.

Ardingly College

Ardingly College is a leading private boarding school set in a 230 acre campus between London and Brighton. The college offers a picturesque rural setting for your tour and you'll find it quick and easy to travel to some of England's finest cities and sights from Ardingly, as it's only an hour south of London and an hour north of the seaside city of Brighton. 

Sports facilities include two all-weather pitches, a swimming pool, six tennis courts and nine football pitches. All accommodation, catering and training facilities are located within the school's grounds.

Hartpury College

A higher education college in the south west of England, near the beautiful Cotswolds, Hartpury College has an impressive sporting reputation. With academies for football, rugby, netball and golf to name a few, they have excellent sports provisions and their teams compete at an elite national level. Alongside the grass football and rugby pitches, 3G pitches, tennis courts and various golf courses they have a human performance lab, sports rehab suite, fitness and power gyms, performance analysis facilities and even a Modern Pentathlon Combined Event range. 

As a university campus, Hartpury has a range of accommodation options all on-site and suitable for varying group sizes.
